The Hoad Hill Harriers Autumn 5K is a flat road race based at Ulverston Park Sports Club in Cumbria. The event also includes a 1 mile Fun Run, creating an accessible evening of running for a range of ages and abilities.
The 5K follows a fast course through the roads around Canal Foot and Ulverston, passing the industrial estates before returning along North Lonsdale Road to the finish at the sports club. Its predominantly flat profile makes the race particularly well suited to runners targeting a quick 5K or looking to improve their personal best.
The accompanying 1 mile Fun Run provides a shorter option, with younger children able to take part when accompanied where required. Finishers of the 5K receive a memento, while Fun Run participants receive a medal, and the event is supported by facilities at the sports club including parking, changing areas, toilets and refreshments.
