The HU5K is a community focused 5K run set in the picturesque Cotswold village of Hawkesbury Upton. Organised by local volunteers in support of Hawkesbury Primary School, the event welcomes runners of all ages and abilities while showcasing some of the area's most attractive countryside.
Starting and finishing at Hawkesbury Village Hall, the route follows a gently undulating course on quiet roads, tracks and footpaths, including sections of the renowned Cotswold Way. Runners can enjoy expansive views across the South Gloucestershire countryside while tackling a varied but accessible route.
The event combines a friendly village atmosphere with strong community support, featuring marshals throughout the course, medals for all finishers and age category awards. Whether chasing a fast time or simply enjoying a summer run in the Cotswolds, the HU5K offers a welcoming experience for runners of all abilities.
