Part of the Harrock Hill Series organised by Newburgh Nomads Running Club, this race takes place near Parbold in Lancashire on an approximately 8.2K course with around 265 metres of ascent. The long established summer series runs across May, June, July and August and is known for its demanding off road terrain and strong local turnout.
The route uses public rights of way across tracks, fields and rough ground with two significant climbs forming much of the elevation. Classified as trail running under ARC rules, the course is around 90% off road and offers a challenging but well supported evening race experience in the West Lancashire countryside.
