The HARP24 is a unique 24 hour endurance challenge held at Cherry Orchard Country Park near Southend-on-Sea. Runners can take on the event as a solo competitor or as part of a relay team of up to 12 people, completing as many laps as possible between midday on Saturday and midday on Sunday.
The scenic 5 mile trail loop winds through the Essex countryside on predominantly off road terrain, creating an enjoyable yet demanding test of endurance. Whether aiming to cover an ultra marathon distance, achieve a personal milestone or work together as a relay team, participants can run at their own pace throughout the 24 hour event.
More than just an endurance race, the HARP24 raises vital funds for HARP, Southend's homelessness charity, supporting people experiencing homelessness across the local community. Combining personal achievement, team spirit and a worthwhile cause, it has become one of Essex's standout endurance events.
