The Hardwick Hobble Summer takes place at Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire, a National Trust estate known for its historic stately hall and extensive grounds. This six hour trail running challenge uses a loop of approximately 6K through the Hardwick Estate, allowing runners to complete as many laps as they choose.
The route passes parkland, farmland, ponds and woodland trails while showcasing views of Hardwick Hall and the surrounding countryside. Predominantly off road, the course combines mixed terrain with rolling ground and a climb on each lap, creating a flexible challenge that can range from a single lap to ultra marathon distance.
Set within one of Derbyshire's best known historic estates, the event offers a flexible trail running experience where runners can decide their distance as the day unfolds.
