The Hardmoors 60 is a 63 mile trail ultra from Guisborough to Filey, following the Cleveland Way through the coastal landscapes of North Yorkshire.
Runners tackle around 8,200ft of ascent as the route passes Saltburn, Staithes, Runswick Bay, Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, Ravenscar and Scarborough before reaching the finish in Filey. The challenging point to point course has an 18 hour time limit.
Checkpoints provide support throughout the route as runners make their way along clifftop trails, coastal paths and undulating sections of the Cleveland Way. Significant climbing, sustained distance and exposed coastal terrain make this a demanding endurance challenge.
