The Hampton Court Half Marathon is a long-established road race in south-west London, organised by River Thames Running and known for its flat, fast course and riverside setting.
Starting in Thames Ditton, runners follow a predominantly traffic-free route towards the River Thames and the grounds of Hampton Court Palace before returning to the finish. The course is exceptionally flat and uses a mixture of roads, paved paths and around two miles of good gravel path, making it popular with runners targeting a personal best or preparing for a spring marathon.
The professionally measured Half Marathon is chip timed, with pacers, marshals and first aid support around the course. Finishers receive a medal and technical T-shirt, with free race photography also provided.
