Take on one of the South East's toughest trail running challenges at the Hadleigh Legacy 10K, an award-winning event organised by Castle Point Joggers. Set in the rugged surroundings of Hadleigh Country Park in Essex, this demanding race attracts runners who enjoy testing their strength, stamina and determination on challenging off-road terrain.
The single-lap course takes runners across a mixture of woodland trails, grassy fields and muddy footpaths, with relentless hills and steep descents providing a serious test of endurance. Technical sections and slippery surfaces demand careful footing, while the challenging climbs are rewarded with spectacular views across the Thames Estuary. With very few easy stretches, this is a race where determination matters more than speed.
Renowned for its tough course, excellent organisation and supportive atmosphere, the Hadleigh Legacy 10K offers a rewarding experience for adventurous runners. Enthusiastic marshals provide encouragement along the way, helping competitors tackle the demanding terrain and reach the finish with a real sense of achievement. For those who prefer hills, mud and adventure over fast, flat roads, this is a challenge worth embracing.
