The Hades Hill Fell Race is a long established evening fell race organised by Rochdale Harriers. First held in 1968, the race takes runners across the hills above Whitworth while supporting the work of Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team.
The 5 mile course includes approximately 360 metres of ascent and climbs to Brown Wardle before returning to Whitworth. Competitors should be prepared for challenging fell terrain and are required to carry mandatory FRA kit, including full body cover and a head torch.
