GWR Towpath Series Race 2

Race 2 of the GWR Towpath Series continues one of Bristol's most popular summer running series. The four race programme features three 10K races followed by a 5K finale, giving runners the opportunity to return throughout the summer and track their progress on a familiar course.

The 10K follows a straightforward out and back route along the towpath beside the River Avon. The gently undulating course combines tarmac and gravel footpaths with occasional roots and rocks underfoot, creating an accessible mixed terrain challenge suitable for runners of all abilities.

Known for its friendly atmosphere and inclusive approach, the GWR Towpath Series welcomes everyone from first time racers to experienced club runners. With enthusiastic marshals, post race prizes and series awards available across the summer, Race 2 provides another opportunity to enjoy one of Bristol's best loved evening race series.
