The Green Wheel Relay is a 50 mile team relay race in Peterborough split across seven stages that follow the city's Green Wheel route. Starting and finishing at Peterborough Athletics Arena, the course combines riverside paths, parkland, cycleways and countryside trails around the edge of the city.
Designed as a true team event, runners tackle individual stages ranging from shorter legs to longer endurance sections while following the full outline of the Green Wheel. The varied terrain, scenic surroundings and strong club atmosphere have made the relay a popular fixture in the East of England running calendar.
