The Green Belt Relay is a multi stage relay race around the outskirts of London, covering around 220 miles over a single weekend. Teams of 11 runners complete 22 stages across two days, following sections of the Green Belt Way through countryside trails, towpaths, footpaths and quiet roads.
Starting at Hampton Court and finishing near Bushy Park, the route passes woodland, riverside paths and open countryside around the edge of Greater London. The event is known for its team atmosphere, challenging navigation and varied terrain across one of the UK’s most established relay races.
