Running for Brooke at this amazing event will improve the lives of working horses, donkeys and mules across the globe. Being part of Team Brooke means you will be supported every step of the way. For more than 600 million people in some of the poorest places worldwide, working equines are the backbone of their communities. Sadly more than half of these animals suffer from exhaustion, dehydration and malnutrition as a result of excessive workloads and limited animal health services.

Brooke has a substantial presence in 10 countries within Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Our mission is to transform the lives of vulnerable working horses, donkeys and mules around the world – we relieve the immediate suffering and create lasting change for around two million equines a year by working with people, communities, organisations and governments.

You can help create lasting change by running the Great North Run for Brooke. The registration fee is £45 and we ask that you raise a minimum of £390 for us.Whether you have your own place or would like to have one of Brooke’s guaranteed entries, please sign up to be part of Team Brooke! You will be well-looked after by Brooke in the lead up to the run.

The Brooke support package includes:

  • Training and Fundraising support and advice
  • Regular e-newsletters to keep you updated
