The Great Langdale 21 is a challenging 21K trail race set among the dramatic landscapes of Great and Little Langdale. Featuring around 850 metres of ascent, the route follows a mix of technical mountain trails, valley paths and rugged terrain beneath some of the Lake District's most iconic fells.
Starting and finishing in Great Langdale, the course passes through locations including Mickleden, Red Tarn, Wrynose Pass and Little Langdale. Combining demanding climbs with spectacular mountain scenery, the event offers a rewarding trail running experience for runners looking to step beyond a traditional Half Marathon distance.
