The Grantchester Charity Runs feature 10K and 3K mixed terrain races through attractive farmland surrounding Grantchester, just outside Cambridge. Both courses are predominantly flat and avoid road crossings entirely, creating a traffic free running experience through the local countryside.
Runners follow a varied course across the farmland between Grantchester and Trumpington, with the 10K providing the main challenge and the shorter 3K welcoming a broad range of ages and abilities. Both distances use chip timing, with results available after the races and medals presented to everyone who completes their course.
The volunteer organised event raises funds for Maggie's Centre Cambridge and Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust, supporting local cancer care and research.
