Gordon Rural Action Santa Run brings festive fun to Huntly, with a 5K event and two children's races starting and finishing at Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre. Participants are encouraged to wear their favourite Christmas outfits for a welcoming community event organised by local charity Gordon Rural Action.
The 5K welcomes runners of different abilities, with marshals positioned along the route to guide participants safely around the course. Younger runners can join separate children's races, followed by tubing activities at the outdoor centre. The emphasis is on participation and festive enjoyment rather than competitive times.
All finishers receive a medal, with water provided at the finish and festive bakes available at the Nordic centre. The event brings families and local runners together for a seasonal celebration while supporting the work of Gordon Rural Action in the community.
