The Glentress 8 Hour Challenge takes place in Glentress Forest near Peebles and follows a 4.366 mile loop through one of Scotland's best known trail running destinations. Runners aim to complete as many laps as possible within the eight hour time limit, with distances building from Half Marathon and Marathon milestones through to Ultra Marathon territory.
Each lap features significant climbing on forest trails and tracks, creating a demanding endurance challenge in the Scottish Borders. The looped format allows runners to manage their effort throughout the day while experiencing the varied terrain and woodland scenery that make Glentress a popular location for outdoor sports.
