EVENT TO BE RE-SCHEDULED FROM APRIL 2020 DUE TO CORONAVIRUS - DETAILS TO FOLLOW
Following a very successful fun run last year, we’ve decided to host another due to very positive feedback on the route and social aspects of the evening. Entry is free to all. Donations on the night will be welcome with all monies going to the Friends of Orchard Brae Charity (SC049024) with a view to purchasing new play materials for our pupils. The Route:
Run, walk or jog ... the route is approximately 5k and starts and finishes in Seaton Park. The event will be timed, but is ultimately just for fun! If you're looking for a PB this is probably not the course for you. The route is mainly on tarmac but does take in the off-road path along the Don so don’t wear your new shoes! The main route is not suitable for wheelchairs and buggies, but an alternative avoiding the off road section will be available.
A few spot prizes will be handed out at the finish.
Participants must be over 12 years old on the day of the Fun Run. Any participant under 16 years of age must be accompanied by their guardian at all times.
Registration will take place at the Brig O'Don Restaurant on King Street (next to Lidl) from 17:00 - 18:10. The run will start in Seaton Park (to the right of the main gate) at 18:30.
All participants will be required to provide name, date of birth and emergency contact details.
If you need a further incentive to come along, you may be happy to know that there will be fudge available for a donation.
There will also be a post run gathering at the Brig O'Don after the should anyone wish to join us - remember your wallet for this please!
