Friday Night Under the Lights 5K is a competitive evening road race held in London's Battersea Park. The event brings together open and elite fields for a night of fast racing on one of the capital's established running courses.
Runners tackle a flat, certified 5K road course consisting of two laps plus 266 metres around Battersea Park. The fast layout attracts athletes targeting personal bests, with separate race waves helping group runners by performance level and creating competitive fields throughout the evening.
The event is conducted under RunBritain rules and includes dedicated elite men's and women's competition alongside the open 5K races. Prize money and time bonuses add to the competitive focus, while the Battersea Park setting provides a spectator friendly environment for evening racing.
