The Richard Bennett Felixstowe Coastal 10M is a coastal road race organised by Felixstowe Road Runners, with race headquarters at Felixstowe Leisure Centre. The route takes runners along the Felixstowe seafront and forms part of the local road racing calendar, with the event also serving as the Suffolk County Road Championship over 10 miles.
Runners follow a measured 10 mile course that is predominantly on tarmac promenade, pavement and road. A section between the Ferry and Martello Tower crosses shingle, adding a change of surface to an otherwise largely paved coastal route. Three water stations provide support around the course, with additional water available at the finish.
The race starts on the promenade at the bottom of Bent Hill, a short walk from race headquarters. Chip timing is used, with baggage facilities, toilets and access to changing and shower facilities available at the leisure centre. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and goody bag, with individual, age category and team prizes also awarded.
