Exeter Santa Run brings runners, families and friends together for a festive charity event in the heart of Exeter. Organised by Exeter City Community Trust, the event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to take part in a seasonal celebration while supporting charitable work in the local community.
The event features a 5K road run and a shorter 2.5K family run, following city centre streets and pedestrian paths around Princesshay and Northernhay Gardens. The generally flat routes are suitable for runners, joggers and walkers, with marshals helping participants navigate the course. Both distances are untimed, keeping the focus on participation rather than finishing positions.
Santa costumes add to the atmosphere as participants make their way through the city centre, with a finisher medal waiting at the end. The event provides an opportunity to get active with family or friends while contributing to the community programmes and charitable causes supported by Exeter City Community Trust.
