The Exeter 10K River Run returns for a popular summer evening race along the picturesque River Exe. Organised by Exeter City Community Trust, the event welcomes runners of all abilities and combines a scenic riverside setting with a flat, traffic free course that is perfect for both newcomers and experienced athletes.
Starting from Haven Banks, the accurately measured 10K follows the River Exe on smooth, traffic free paths, creating excellent conditions for chasing a personal best or stepping up from a 5K. The well supported course is also an ideal training race for runners preparing for an autumn marathon.
Open to runners aged 15 and over, the event features chip timing, a professional race atmosphere and a bespoke finisher medal. Every entry also helps support the Exeter City Community Trust's programmes that promote health, wellbeing and participation in sport across the local community.
