The Dumble Bimble is an annual charity running event organised by Royal Manor of Portland Athletic Club in memory of club members Alan and Andrew Dumble. Held in support of Weldmar Hospice, the event welcomes runners, joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities for an enjoyable community evening.
Participants can choose between an approximately 5K route and an approximately 2K route. The 2K course stays within the grounds of Grove Farm Estates on off road paths, while the 5K starts and finishes at Grove Farm Estates before completing three laps around HMP The Verne on a mixed terrain course.
The Dumble Bimble is a popular local event that combines fundraising with an inclusive atmosphere. Whether taking on the 5K challenge or enjoying the shorter family friendly route, participants help raise valuable funds for Weldmar Hospice while supporting a long standing community tradition.
