The 10K is a breathtaking route which takes in the Derbyshire villages of Coal Aston, Apperknowlde, Hundall and Unstone.
The majority of the course is on road/pavement, but the route also includes sections on grass, paths and even a raised wooden boardwalk through the local nature reserve!
Although the course is not on closed roads, the roads used are very quiet and the 10K is superbly marshalled by football club volunteers, providing a very safe run for all.
