The Abersoch Coast Trail is a spectacular coastal running event on the Llŷn Peninsula, offering 20K and 10K trail races alongside a 2K junior beach race. Starting and finishing on the golden sands of Abersoch Beach, the event showcases some of the finest coastal scenery in North Wales while providing an unforgettable day of running for all ages.
The scenic routes follow the Wales Coast Path past Cardigan Bay, the St Tudwal's Islands, Porth Ceiriad and, for 20K runners, onward to Porth Neigwl, also known as Hell's Mouth. A varied mix of coastal trails, tracks, short road sections and beach running creates a rewarding challenge with spectacular sea views throughout.
With a lively beach atmosphere, post race entertainment, a beach bar and café, a charity torchlight run and the 2K junior beach race, the Abersoch Coast Trail combines outstanding coastal running with one of Britain's most scenic trail running events.
