The Dartmoor Prison Break is a navigation based endurance challenge starting from Princetown on Dartmoor. Participants are released from the prison grounds before making their own way across the landscape using route choice, navigation skills and endurance to maximise the distance travelled within the event time limit.
With 6 hour, 12 hour and 24 hour challenge options, the event focuses on self navigation and strategy rather than following a marked course. The unique format combines adventure, route planning and long distance running across Dartmoor and beyond.
