The Darlington Half Marathon starts and finishes on High Row in the heart of Darlington, following a fully closed road route through the town and surrounding countryside. The course heads west onto quieter rural roads before returning to a lively town centre finish.
With a flat profile and approximately 109 metres of elevation gain, this Half Marathon is ideal for runners targeting a personal best, tackling their first 13.1 miles or enjoying a well organised road race. Chip timing, clear distance markers, regular water stations and supportive marshals help runners maintain their pace throughout.
