Dark Dorset 10 is a twilight 10K trail race at Eastbury Park near Tarrant Gunville in Dorset. Starting and finishing in the park, the entirely off road route takes runners through woodland and neighbouring parkland around Chettle before returning to Eastbury House.
Runners tackle the course as daylight fades, adding a distinctive challenge to the woodland trails and varied off road terrain. The route passes local landmarks including Bloody Shard Gate and Chettle Long Barrow, with way marking and marshals helping runners around the course.
The event combines night trail running with the rural surroundings and local folklore of the Cranborne Chase. Medals, trophies and refreshments are included, with the twilight start creating an atmospheric 10K running experience in the Dorset countryside.
