The Cotswold Classic is a long established 10 mile road race organised by Witney Road Runners and has been a popular fixture on the Oxfordshire running calendar for more than 30 years. Starting and finishing at The King's School in Witney, the race attracts club runners and recreational runners alike.
The road course heads through Witney and the surrounding Cotswold villages on an undulating route that showcases the area's rolling countryside. The course features one notable climb before a fast final stretch back towards the finish, with chip timing, well marshalled roads, changing facilities and bag storage provided.
The Cotswold Classic offers a rewarding challenge for runners looking to test themselves over 10 miles on an established road race. A technical long sleeved finisher shirt, free beer at the finish and a friendly atmosphere help make it one of Oxfordshire's most popular autumn events.
