Both races start at 11:00am. Both races: start with 1 lap (200m) of the Games arena to then turn right to continue out of the village. Another right to run up the Fernie road - a small gradual climb for 1K. It is then downhill from there as the route turns back towards the village. 3K - when children return to the village, they return to the Cornhill Highland Games and complete a finishing lap of the Games arena. 6K - when adults (16+) return to the village for the 1st time, they continue forwards, past the Games, to do another lap of the Fernie. On returning the 2nd time, they return to the Cornhill Highland Games and complete finishing lap of the Games arena.
