Race 2 of the Joydens Wood 5K Summer Series continues Dartford Road Runners' popular programme of summer evening races in one of Kent's most attractive woodland settings. Held with the permission of the Woodland Trust, the series gives runners the opportunity to explore the trails of Joydens Wood across three enjoyable midweek events.

The 5K route follows woodland paths through the heart of the forest, offering a mixture of natural terrain and a refreshing alternative to road racing. The peaceful surroundings and well established trails create an enjoyable challenge for runners of all abilities, whether stepping up from parkrun or building towards longer races later in the season.

As the second race in the three event series, this mid summer outing provides another chance to enjoy the woodland setting while competing for series positions. With a friendly atmosphere and scenic surroundings, it remains a popular fixture in the Kent summer running calendar.
