The Coniston event offers 10K and 16K trail races from the shores of Coniston Water in the heart of the Lake District. Both routes follow well marked footpaths and bridleways, taking runners through classic Lakeland scenery with panoramic views of Coniston Water and the surrounding peaks, including the Old Man of Coniston.
Starting and finishing at Coniston Sports and Social Club, the courses combine runnable trails with a variety of off road terrain. The 10K provides an accessible introduction to Lake District trail running, while the 16K offers a longer and more challenging route through the surrounding countryside.
