The Colworth Trail 8.1 is the second race in the unique Colworth Marathon Challenge, a three day running festival where participants can complete one, two or all three races that together total the classic marathon distance of 26.2 miles. Set within the beautiful Colworth Estate, the Saturday event offers a rewarding cross country challenge through the North Bedfordshire countryside.

The 8.1 mile route explores woodland trails, open fields and rolling estate tracks, providing a varied off road course with plenty of natural scenery and an enjoyable trail running experience. Suitable for experienced trail runners and those looking to take on a new challenge, the event combines a friendly atmosphere with well organised racing.

Runners can enter the Trail 8.1 on its own or as part of the full Colworth Marathon Challenge alongside the Friday 5 and the Sunday Half Marathon. With chip timing, free camping and a welcoming event village, it is a memorable highlight of one of the country's most distinctive multi day running events.
