The Colworth 5 opens the Colworth Marathon Challenge, a unique three day running festival where participants can complete one, two or all three races that together add up to the classic marathon distance of 26.2 miles. Set within the beautiful Colworth Estate in North Bedfordshire, the Friday evening race combines competitive running with a welcoming family atmosphere.
The 5 mile multi terrain course winds through the estate and surrounding countryside, offering an undulating route suitable for runners aged 16 and over. Family entertainment and children's races take place before the main event, creating a vibrant start to the Challenge weekend.
Runners can enter the Friday race on its own or as part of the full Colworth Marathon Challenge alongside the Trail 8.1 on Saturday and the Half Marathon on Sunday. With chip timing, free camping for participants and a friendly community atmosphere, the Colworth 5 is the perfect way to kick off an unforgettable weekend of running.
