Starting and finishing on Abbey Field, the course begins on Circular Road North and winds through the Colchester Garrison area. Predominantly flat, with a few gentle slopes near the end, the route follows a combination of pavements and tracks, making it suitable for all abilities. Key features: Certified 10K distance (UK Athletics approved), Fully marshalled road crossings, Two water stations en route with water at the Finish line. Free on-site parking and toilet facilities.
We have three entry categories: Affiliated Runners, Unaffiliated Runners and Members of the Armed Forces. This well-established event is a highlight of Colchester’s sporting calendar.
