The east coast of Devon is famous for its hills and beautiful hill top views. Come along and get swept up in the atmosphere of this very enjoyable coastal event.
Now in its 7th year:
The Maer 10K Challenge; a single lap course which is scenic and challenging. The route starts on Exmouth seafront and winds its way through Exmouth before heading out to the coast path to rejoin the half route allowing it to experience the downhill stretch leading to the Geoneedle, hugging the coast path back to the finish line.
The Maer Half Challenge; a multi-terrain single lap course winding its way over to Budleigh along the disused trainline before climbing nearly 1000ft along the spectacular coastal path back to the finish line in Exmouth. Beautiful, scenic and definately challenging!! We ask you reach the 10km/half split within the 36 minute cut off (8min/k pace) otherwise our marshals will direct you on to the the 10km route.
