The Cleveland Way Relay is a team relay event organised by the North York Moors Athletic Club, covering the full Cleveland Way National Trail in a series of stages. Teams of runners tackle sections of one of England's most celebrated long distance trails, combining coastal running with moorland terrain across North Yorkshire.
The route follows the Cleveland Way through the North York Moors National Park, linking dramatic cliff top paths, rolling moorland tracks and challenging trail sections. Each stage offers a different test, with runners experiencing everything from rugged coastline to open heather moorland while contributing to their team's overall performance.
Combining teamwork, trail running and some of the finest scenery in northern England, the Cleveland Way Relay is a long established fixture that showcases the diversity and beauty of the Cleveland Way National Trail.
