Why not come along and join in the fun? The 5K and 10K races begin at 9:00 am, with all other distances starting from 10:15 am. Whether you are aiming for a new personal best or ticking something off your bucket list, this is a great opportunity to challenge yourself on a 400-metre athletics track.
Distances are measured by laps of lane one, with 5K equating to 12.5 laps, 10K to 25 laps, a half marathon to 52.75 laps, a full marathon to 105.5 laps, and a 50K ultra to 125 laps. There is also a six-hour challenge where you can complete as many laps as you like within the time limit.
All finishers will receive a bespoke medal, with chip timing on a traffic-free track. The event includes free parking, complimentary race photos, and refreshments such as tea, coffee, and cake. With a limit of 100 entrants, it offers a friendly and supportive atmosphere, and is held under an ARC licence. One of the highlights is being able to see your supporters on every lap.
Toilets and changing rooms are located close to the track, and the clearly defined course means there is no risk of getting lost. Aid stations will be available throughout.
Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time to collect your race number, attend the briefing, and prepare. The venue opens at 8:00 am, and arrivals before this time are not permitted.
Runners of all abilities will be taking part, so overtaking should be done on the right. If you plan to walk or use a run-and-walk approach, please move to the outer lanes. Being mindful of others will help ensure everyone enjoys the event.
Distances are officially measured by lap count, with each lap being 400 metres, so watch distances may vary depending on lane choice.
