Christmas Cracker Edinburgh is organised by Up and Running Events and brings a festive programme of running to The Meadows.
The 5K and 10K follow paths through the park, with both races starting together. The event is suitable for runners of all abilities, from those looking for an enjoyable post-Christmas run to anyone chasing a final 5K or 10K time of the year.
Younger runners can join the programme with a 1.5K Kids Race and free 200m Toddler Dash. The races are chip timed, with marked and marshalled routes, kilometre markers, hydration and first aid support. Finishers receive a medal and post-race goody bag.
