Crikey It's the Christmas Cracker Day 1 brings festive running to Rodley, Leeds, with scenic routes following the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Starting and finishing at Rodley Cricket Club, the event takes runners along largely flat towpaths, with waterside scenery and a welcoming Christmas atmosphere.
Runners can choose from 5K, 10K, 10 miles, Half Marathon, 20 miles, Marathon and Ultra distances. The flat, runnable trails suit those targeting a personal best as well as runners looking for a longer endurance challenge. Courses are signed and marshalled, with feed stations approximately every three miles providing refreshments along the way.
Every finisher receives a bespoke Christmas medal and festive treats, with food, music and seasonal celebrations at race headquarters. As the opening day of the Christmas Cracker weekend, the event also gives participants the opportunity to return for another run the following day.
