The Chelly Chase is a five mile fell race based in the village of Chelmorton near Buxton in the Peak District. Starting from the village area, the race heads into the surrounding countryside on a varied route across the local hills, providing an enjoyable rural setting for this established community event.
Runners tackle five miles of mixed terrain, with fell paths, tracks and rural sections creating a challenging course through the Peak District landscape. The changing surfaces and undulating terrain provide a varied test of climbing, descending and off road running ability.
