The Cheddar Gorge Challenge takes place in Somerset, offering 6K, 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon trail race distances across one of England’s most dramatic natural landscapes. Based at Warren Farm near Charterhouse, the routes explore Cheddar Gorge and the surrounding Mendip Hills.
The courses feature a varied mix of terrain including open meadows, rocky trails, woodland sections, stone steps and cliff top paths. The 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon routes all include sections along the gorge rim, providing views across Cheddar Gorge and the Somerset countryside, while the longer distances extend further into the Mendip Hills.
Known for its combination of challenging climbs, technical terrain and spectacular scenery, the event offers trail runners the opportunity to experience one of the UK's most iconic outdoor locations across a range of distances.
