Chase The Sun Tatton Park 5K and 10K are evening road races held entirely within the grounds of Tatton Park near Knutsford in Cheshire.
Both distances use the park's internal roads, creating a road closed course through the historic estate and surrounding parkland. The route is undulating rather than flat, but the accurately measured courses and chip timing still provide good opportunities for runners targeting a strong 5K or 10K time.
The 10K starts first, followed by the 5K, with both races finishing within Tatton Park. The event includes chip timed results, free race photography, a themed finisher medal and post race refreshments.
The combination of an evening start, traffic free running and the setting within one of Cheshire's best known country estates gives the event a distinctive character compared with a conventional town or city road race.
