CDF 10K is organised by Run 4 Wales and has been part of the Welsh capital's running calendar since 1986.
Starting and finishing on King Edward VII Avenue, the flat course takes runners through central Cardiff before crossing the River Taff and heading towards Pontcanna. The route continues through the listed parkland of Llandaff and Pontcanna Fields before passing Sophia Gardens and returning to the Civic Centre.
Along the way runners pass some of Cardiff's most recognisable landmarks, including Cardiff Castle, Central Square and the Principality Stadium. Fully closed roads and a fast profile make the race particularly attractive to runners targeting a personal best.
The race is chip timed with live tracking and results available through the Run 4 Wales app. A supporting 2K event takes place before the 10K.
