The Carsington Water Trail Half Marathon & 10K offers runners the chance to explore one of Derbyshire's most picturesque outdoor destinations on an undulating trail route around the stunning Carsington Water reservoir. With Half Marathon and 10K distances available, the event is ideal for trail enthusiasts and runners looking to enjoy spectacular scenery in a friendly atmosphere.
The Half Marathon combines an out and back section with a full circuit of the reservoir, while the 10K completes almost a full loop, following well maintained trail paths with panoramic views across the water and surrounding countryside.
