The Calderdale Way Ultra features 30 mile and 50 mile Ultra Marathon routes through the hills and valleys of Calderdale in West Yorkshire. Both courses follow sections of the Calderdale Way, taking in rugged moorland, bluebell woods, working farmland, canal towpaths and historic trails across some of the region’s most scenic landscapes.
The 50 mile route forms a full circuit from Heptonstall, passing through locations including Hardcastle Crags, Midgley Moor, Wainstalls, Brighouse, Norland Moor, Soyland Moor and Todmorden. The 30 mile route starts in Brighouse and follows the latter part of the Calderdale Way to Heptonstall. Both races feature significant climbs, remote trail sections and panoramic views across the Calder Valley, creating a demanding long distance trail running challenge.
