Burnley Leisure Padiham 10K is a multi terrain race exploring Padiham and the surrounding Lancashire countryside.
Starting from Padiham Leisure Centre, the 10K takes runners through some of the town's most attractive areas, including Padiham Greenway and the Leeds & Liverpool Canal towpath, before continuing into the countryside around Padiham and Hapton. The varied route combines traffic-free paths and towpath running with rural sections beyond the town.
The 2026 edition is the event's first Eco-Friendly Run, with participants encouraged to use reusable water bottles, reduce single-use plastics, recycle and travel sustainably where possible. Water refill stations are provided rather than relying on single-use bottles, with the event placing an emphasis on protecting the local environment throughout race day.
