Bude Lifeboat Run 6M & Junior Race

The Bude Lifeboat Run is a six mile multi terrain race organised by Bude RATs in support of the RNLI. Held each summer in the Cornish coastal town of Bude, the event raises funds to help support the RNLI's lifesaving work at sea and on inland waterways.

Starting from Bude Rugby Club, the course follows a varied route incorporating cycleways, canal towpaths and off road footpaths around the town and surrounding area. The race attracts runners of all abilities and has become a popular fixture in the local running calendar, regularly drawing strong fields and community support.

The event is Race 11 of the Cornwall Road Running and Racing Group Multi Terrain Race Series, giving competitors the opportunity to score valuable series points while supporting a worthwhile cause. Alongside the senior race, junior one mile races help make the evening a celebration of running and community participation in Bude.
