The Demelza Rainbow Run is a colourful family fun run at Avery Hill Park in Eltham, raising funds for Demelza Children's Hospice. The fully accessible course welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, with colour stations adding plenty of fun along the way.
Participants complete two loops of the 5K course and can run, walk, dance or toddle their way to the finish. With no emphasis on racing for a time, the event is designed as an inclusive experience for families, with separate wave starts helping everyone make their way around the route comfortably.
Every participant is encouraged to raise funds to support Demelza and its care for children with life limiting conditions and their families. Finishers receive a medal, while an event village provides activities, food stalls, glitter tattoos and other family entertainment after the run.
