The Bromyard Round the Downs is a scenic multi terrain event based at Bromyard Rugby Club, featuring a challenging 10K alongside a family friendly 2K Fun Run. Organised as a community fundraising event, it offers runners the opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside surrounding the Bromyard Downs.
The predominantly off road 10K follows a varied route of grass, trails, tracks and short sections of tarmac, climbing onto the Bromyard Downs before returning to the finish at the rugby club. Spectacular panoramic views reward the ascent, while the varied terrain provides an enjoyable challenge for runners of all abilities. The 2K Fun Run offers a shorter off road route for younger participants.
With chip timing for the 10K, personalised race bibs, a bespoke finisher's medal, water station, homemade cake at the finish and excellent local support, the Bromyard Round the Downs delivers a welcoming race day experience. Combining scenic countryside, community spirit and rewarding off road running, it has become a popular summer event in Herefordshire.
